About the Recipe

Ingredients
1-2lb bag of Brussels Sprouts
1-2 Tbs of oil
Salt
Pepper
Onion Powder
Garlic Powder
Paprika
Red Pepper Flakes
Preparation
Prepare the sprouts
-Start by trimming the stem ends and removing any yellow or damaged outer leaves. Cut each sprout in half lengthwise to expose more surface area for crisping.
Dry the sprouts
-After rinsing, pat them dry with a clean kitchen towel or paper towels. Excess moisture will steam the sprouts instead of crisping them.
Season and oil
-Place the sprouts in a bowl and drizzle with about 1 to 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Toss to coat evenly. Sprinkle with salt and freshly ground black pepper. You can add garlic powder, smoked paprika, or chili flakes for extra flavor.
Preheat the air fryer
-Set your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) and let it preheat for 3 to 5 minutes.
Cook in batches
-Arrange the sprouts in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Avoid overcrowding to ensure even cooking. Cook for 12 to 15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to brown all sides.
Check for doneness
The sprouts should be golden brown and crispy on the edges with a tender inside. If you want them crispier, cook for an additional 2 to 3 minutes.
