Ingredients
1 can of peaches (15oz)
1 cup sugar
1 cup flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
3/4 cup milk
5 tbl butter
Cinnamon
Nutmeg (optional)
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
Prepare the baking dish by melting the butter in a 9x13-inch pan in the oven while it preheats.
Mix dry ingredients in a bowl: Add flour, sugar, baking powder and salt
Add milk to the dry mix and stir until smooth.
Pour the batter into the hot melted butter in the baking dish. Do not stir.
Arrange the peaches evenly over the batter.
Sprinkle the cinnamon and nutmeg over the peaches.
Bake for 30-40 minutes until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the batter comes out clean.
Let cool slightly before serving.
