Ingredients
4-5 Ripe bananas
2 (5oz) pkgs of instant vanilla pudding mix
3 Cups of cold milk
1 (14oz) can of sweetened and condensed milk
1tsp of vanilla extract
1 1/4 container of whipped topping
1 box of vanilla wafers
Preparation
Prepare the pudding
-In a large bowl, mix together the instant pudding mix and cold milk until thickened, about 2 minutes. Stir in the sweetened condensed milk and vanilla extract for extra creaminess and flavor.
Fold in whipped topping
-Gently fold the whipped topping or freshly whipped cream into the pudding mixture. This step lightens the pudding and adds a smooth texture.
Layer the dessert
-In a large glass dish or individual serving cups, start with a layer of vanilla wafers. Add a layer of sliced bananas on top of the cookies. Then spread a layer of pudding over the bananas. Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with a layer of pudding.
Chill before serving
-Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight. Chilling allows the flavors to meld and the cookies to soften slightly, creating the perfect texture.
